It sucks being the "skinny girl" sometimes

First of all I hate when people refer to me as skinny. Some people have gone as far to say I am a stick. Thats definately rude, insulting and unnecessary. I would appreciate it if the first thing people associate me with is the way I look first of all. And I would appreciate being called something like tiny or small. That sounds nicer.

Although being skinny has obvious perks. It has disadvantages.

1. People ask A LOT OF QUESTIONS.
There is a lady who works at my school and just randomly said, "Oh my gosh your so pretty, you should model, your so small, cus what are you like a 100 pounds?" I told her my actual weight and then she started asking me about my makeup.

I've had people say crap like, what do you eat, how much do you exercise (as if to say I eat nothing and exercise forever. yeah right, if only they knew the truth about nutrition and exercise)

2. People watch what you eat
"I thought you like...such and such" "Oh you're eating fruit, I like fruit too."
In my head I'm thinking, you don't see me saying, "Ow wow you're eating 2 Big Macs and getting Dairy Queen, you sure must be hungry. I can be critical at times but I NEVER and WILL NEVER judge someone because of what they eat. Thats completely insulting!

3. People are jealous and try to be like you?
You know those people that are so jealous of you they put you down, only to secretly find information about how you made it and got where you're at? I have a lot of people in my life like that lately. First they criticize you for "eating healthy" next thing you know they want one of your recipes. I say, "Oh, I just make stuff up" I don't give details to people like that, only to people that genuinely want to know and aren't prying for information to just show me up.

4. People compare themselves to you
This typically happens when your shopping or looking through clothing catalouges people say things like, "I can't wear that..but you could" "I wouldn't look good in that outfit but you would" "You would look great wearing that swimsuit, my (fill in this blank with a body part) is too fat, flabby, too this and too that."

I want to say, GIRL i had the same problem, now shut up comparing yourself to me and pick something that will look cute on yourself.

Now I only get aggrivated with this when it happens CONSTANTLY with the same person. And I know people don't mean any harm, but if you read those quotes over and over again you can just imagine how they make me feel...

5. Pressure
When you are the size quite frankly a lot of people desire to be, you feel pressured to stay that way, to keep every ounce of muscle and definition on every part of my body. But its whatever because thats what drives me. When I get in the gym for that workout, thats what drives me to push harder, don't stop, pick up a different fitness tool, burn harder, sweat longer, cus NO ONE will take my spot..(kinda attitude) is GREAT motivation for when I'm working out.

Because besides, It is nice to set an example of what being healthy is all about :)
